The February, 2025 meeting was held at Deb Silverman-Harris’s shop. A good turnout
of 21 members, including 3 guests. The business agenda was followed with show and tell plus
a demonstration by Deb Silverman-Harris. At Show and Tell, Deb Silverman-Harris crafted an
array of cutting boards and trays, using 3 dimensional CNC programing. She had others items
displayed including CNC produced signs with print and design in relief carved.
Susan Chandler crafted 2 candle stands which included strips of hardwood glued between band sawn block curves. All 4 sides reveal the curved design.

 

April Guild Meeting held at Randy Mayse’s shop after a postponement the week before with a snowstorm.
A business meeting first with Interim President, Barbara White. Blade Sharpening process needs updating;
Bob Kearney is the liaison between the Board of Trustees and website committee. A meeting is scheduled for
May 8th, 1 pm at Ron Boes Shop to finalize recommendations by the website committee to the Board for
finalization. Guild picnic is changed back to Saturday, September 13th at Barbara White’s home in Yarmouth.
A field trip to Center for Furniture Craftsmanship at 11:00 am for facility and gallery tours. Break for lunch and then
onto Lie-Nielson tool Works for a tour and showroom visit. You are welcome to attend both and either/or.
Joe Eliccha brought in a mini toolbox with miniature tools, hand planes, and chisels. Susan Chandler showed pictures of birdhouses that she made for someone; also,a wood rack of her wood supply. Randy showed inside-out turned bobbles that he made. He then did a demo stile, rail and panel assembly for cabinets or doors.
